The Texas Workforce Registry, part of the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS), is a web-based database where early childhood professionals can store and access their education and employment history, as well as the professional development hours they have completed. Professionals with an account on the Texas Workforce Registry can also access the new Find My Career Lattice tool on TECPDS. The Texas Workforce Registry launched in 2013 and recently added some new features to support early childhood professionals.
The Texas Workforce Registry has two account options. Both are available at no cost, following a short sign-up process.
Housed at the Children’s Learning Institute at UTHealth, the Texas Workforce Registry and TECPDS are part of CLI’s State Initiatives, programs that support early childhood quality improvement across the state and deliver resources to early childhood programs, professionals, and families. The Texas Core Competencies for Early Childhood Practitioners and Administrators, as well as the Core Competencies training modules hosted on CLI Engage, are also part of TECPDS.
Visit the Texas Workforce Registry page on the TECPDS website to create your free account! Like CLI Engage, TECPDS uses Google authentication. You can use the same Google account information to create your account in TECPDS that you use for CLI Engage.
