CLI Engage users with a Teacher or Principal account have an opportunity to create a free Texas Workforce Registry account through an easy opt-in. The first time these users login to CLI Engage, they will see a pop-up opt-in box inviting them to create a free account in the Texas Workforce Registry, part of the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System.
We hope users will take this opportunity to create an account and add information about their education, work experience, and professional development history. Inputting basic information only takes a few minutes time.
At any time, users can visit the Texas Workforce Registry to create a free account. We will expand the opt-in from CLI Engage to additional users groups soon.
The Texas Workforce Registry provides users with a centralized, confidential, electronic storage system for professional development and employment records. Based on the information added to the registry, teachers (practitioners) can assess their professional development needs and create a plan for meeting these needs. Administrators can use the Texas Workforce Registry for running reports on the professional development being obtained by their staff, and can submit job openings for posting on the website’s job board. Additional details and records can be added into the account at any time to create a complete personal professional history. All professional development certificates earned on CLI Engage automatically transfer to a user’s account in the Texas Workforce Registry, if both accounts are set-up.
