If a user has forgotten their login information, reset their account so they can login to CLI Engage again. Resetting the account will send an email to the user’s primary email address, inviting them to re-register for CLI Engage and login.
Under the “Administrative Tools” tab, click the “Class and Student Management” button.
Next, click to open the “User Management” section, on the left side of the webpage.
Select the type of user who needs to have their account reset. For example, select “Teacher” if you need to reset the account for one of your teachers.
Then, search for the user. For example, search by last name.
Locate the correct user in the search results, and see the series of buttons to the right of the screen under “Action.”
To reset a user’s account, click the orange arrow button:
When this message appears click “Yes” to proceed.
Then, you will see this confirmation message. Click “OK” to clear the message.
After you have reset the user’s account, ask them to check for a new email from CLI Engage inviting them to register. They must click the link in this email to login, since it is uniquely tied to their personal account. During the login process, they will be asked to enter a Google ID and password.
