The following instructions detail the steps that teachers can take to access and print assessment reports for the parents and guardians of the children in their classrooms.
Locate the red banner Screening, Progress Monitoring and Observation on the dashboard and click on the assessment for which you would like to produce reports, for example CIRCLE Progress Monitoring PreK or Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment. The following screenshots show the steps to pull this report in CIRCLE Progress Monitoring, but the steps are the same for all the assessments on CLI Engage.
On the class view page, click the ‘reports’ button next to a child’s name.
After clicking on the report icon, teachers can print a parent report.
When you click the report icon, a report will look like this.
For the parent report, select the Parent Report option.
You can choose to print parent reports for one child, or for all the children in your classroom from this screen. If you are planning to print parent reports for all of the children, we recommend that you select ‘Entire Class’.
Then select the wave and measures that you would like to appear on the parent report. We recommend that you only select the measures that you administered to appear in this report, to avoid confusion for the parents.
Once you have selected the measures, you will see the following buttons at the bottom of the page.
To print a parent report with a child’s performance results, click the ‘Print Parent Reports’ button. The report will download as a PDF so you can easily print and share with parents/guardians.
To help parents better understand what these results mean the report includes an explanation of the scoring, and how this assessment helps the teacher plan more targeted activities and lesson.
